To determine your wig size, or to provide us with your measurements for a custom wig, we need to explain how to take your measurements toDETERMINE YOUR SIZE. Perhaps you already know your size, but I don't think everyone does, so we're going to help you choose the length and size (S, M, L, etc.). And don't forget that there are plenty of tips for wearing your wig well.
Taking your head circumference measurement will help you determine your head size for your wig, but the head measurement can also help you find a wig on our website and when looking for a wig in a store or aWig Stand and hats, as well as for your baby's head circumference. To take your measurements, you will need a tape measure (the same as for sewing), and you should tie your hair as if you are going to put on your wig (braided close to the head) or simply style your hair so it's slightly flattened. Don't hesitate to find an easy hairstyle for yourself.
Stand in front of a mirror and pass theTAPE MEASURE AROUND YOUR HEAD, starting from your hairline or where you place 4 fingers on your forehead (with your pinky on your eyebrow bone) and 1 cm above that is your hairline. Then, the tape measure goes around the back of your head where the curve of your head begins, as shown below (figure 3 in the size chart).
You will need this measurement for your wig cap size (wig size), whether it is a natural hair wig, or synthetic hair wig, for a customized wig, a men's wig or a women's wig, or even a high-end wig. If you want a custom wig, this way we can know the measurements of the wig lace for a lace front wig or to measure the fabric for a custom cosplay wig. The difference between a "simple" wig and a custom wig: there is onlyONE MEASUREMENT to take for the "simple" wig, but for custom wigs, you need to take seven different measurements with your tape measure, to be as accurate as possible to your head and to have your wig in the correct size. Here's how to find your size (see the correspondence table below).
Once these measurements are taken, they are as effective as a head impression. You can request aCUSTOM WIG CAP.

Remember that this measurement can help you choose your lace front wig or your cosplay wigs, as well as a styling head; it will be very practical for storing and styling your wig.
Once you have taken your head circumference (figure 3), you can determine the wig cap size and find your corresponding size:
Size XS = 52cm-54cm
Size S = 54cm-56cm
Size M = 56cm-58cm
Size L = 58cm-60cm
One Size = Adjustable for all head circumferences
There are also 3 other sizes:
Petite Size = 52 to 54 cm
Standard Size = 55 to 57 cm
Large Size = 58 to 60 cm
TheAVERAGE HEAD CIRCUMFERENCE for women and men is between 56cm and 58cm, but no two people are alike, so we prefer to have a wider choice. We also remind you that no matter if you have long hair or short hair, it is always possible to take your measurements, but remember that if you cut your hair a lot, you must reduce the cap size because the lace front / lace will no longer be your size.
To avoid taking a size that is too large, you must properly place your hair, either by flattening it or styling it in the same way as when you wear your wig, so that the measurements are accurate. If your hair is thick and you don't do this, the measurements will be incorrect. Also, when taking measurements, avoid pulling the tape measure too tight against your scalp; you should be comfortable in your wig. MostWIGS ARE ADJUSTABLE, so choose a size that falls between your measurement (Example: 57 cm, I take an M or Standard Size; 53.5 cm, I take an S or Petite Size).
But if, unfortunately, the wig is too small, it is much more complicated to adjust it, so be very careful when taking your head circumference and make sure you position your tape measure correctly!

The first essential step to getting a perfect wig fit is to take accurate measurements. But how do you convert hair length measurements between inches and centimeters? Converting between these two units of measurement can seem confusing, but by understanding the basics, you can take precise and consistent measurements. The standard conversion is that 1 inch equals 2.54 centimeters. This means that if you have a measurement in inches and want to convert it to centimeters, you need to multiply the measurement in inches by 2.54.
It's important to note that many wig measuring and cutting tools use centimeters as the unit of measurement. Therefore, it's beneficial to understand the conversion between inches and centimeters so you can use these tools correctly and get accurate results.
Often, hair length is measured in inches, not cm, but it's important to know that depending on the hair type (straight, curly, or frizzy), the length is not the same. Choosing your short wig, mid-length wig, or long wig is not easy, so to help you determine what curl length you want for your hair, we've created a wig inch size guide below:
It is rare to find hair longer than 24 inches as this is generally the maximum length.
These measurements can also be useful for certain hairpieces, such as extensions.
We also remind you that the nature of the hair (synthetic wig or natural wig) and the position of the parting in the hair do not change the advertised length.

Wig cutting is one of the most important aspects of achieving a perfect fit. A well-executed cut can transform an ordinary wig into a fabulous hairstyle that looks natural and flattering. When wearing a wig, it's essential that it fits perfectly on your head and face to create the illusion of real hair. A precise cut creates harmonious lines and removes excess volume, which gives a more realistic appearance. Whether you want to refresh an existing wig or customize a new wig, a professional cut is key to achieving a flawless result.
Cutting a wig can seem intimidating at first, but with the right techniques and a little practice, you can easily master this art. In the following sections, we will guide you through the different steps of cutting a wig, providing tips and tricks to achieve a perfect fit and a natural look.
In conclusion, measuring hair length in centimeters is essential for achieving a perfect wig fit. Centimeters offer greater precision and consistency.
