Because youneed regular maintenance, we offer a wide selection of hair accessories and wigs. Natural or synthetic wigs need attention for optimal resistance. This will make a huge difference to the health of your skin, scalp, and wig. Unless the scalp is sensitive, we suggest wearing a bamboo cap. Its softness offers excellent comfort, as do its anti-slip and antibacterial qualities when used correctly. And shampooing your wig properly is essential.
How to detangle a wig?
First of all, you need a stand (styling head), then whether it's for a synthetic wig or a natural wig,you start by gently brushing the wig from bottom to top with a good brush such as aTangle Teezer brush or a detangling brush, preferably an anti-static brush, or a wide-tooth comb (to see more, visit our hairbrush collection). If necessary, use a specific detangler for dry synthetic or natural hair, and if you use conditioner when washing the wig, in addition to a silky finish, brushing and detangling will be easier.

Here are all our tips:
First, if you have used glue, gently remove it with solvent and cotton pads, letting them sit for 5 minutes, then use cotton swabs to remove any remaining glue by dabbing without rubbing. Then, to wash the hair, put lukewarm to cold water in a basin, then add shampoo for synthetic or natural wig hair, and place the wig inside. Leave for 5 minutes. Stroke the hair to avoid damaging it and to lather the shampoo inside the wig and for cleaning the lace, leave for 5 minutes, then rinse. Don't hesitate to do this several times, as it should be done gently. Then repeat the process with a hair treatment or mask for synthetic/natural hair or use a leave-in treatment to add shine depending on the hair type. To wring it out, place it on a towel and roll it up to absorb as much water as possible so that the hair is as dry as possible. Don't forget to detangle thoroughly, starting from the ends. Then proceed to drying/styling on a suitable stand.

(once in the basin, the hair should look like the picture above).
The frequency of shampooing depends on whether you wear your wig often or not, if you take care of it, if you sweat... So, often, you might think you need to wash it as often as your hair, but no, generally, you need towash it 1 to 2 times a month, because the process damages the
hair fiber (due to friction), but if you think it's necessary to wash it more often, do not exceed more than 4 times a month, because that becomes too often and too much repeated aggression will make your wig deteriorate much faster and become drier, duller, and with brittle ends. We also advise you, after washing the hair, to always use a nourishing treatment or a hair mask depending on the hair type of your wig or hairpiece to reduce brittle hair.

If you keep your wig detangled as in the photo above, it shouldn't get damaged.
To have a beautiful, shiny, long-lasting wig and to avoid damaging a synthetic wig, it's simple:
Don't forget that most of the time, things not recommended for your hair are also not recommended for your wig, hairpiece, or hair integration (with a few exceptions).
You have 2 options for storing your wig/hairpiece/hair integration:
